Bass Pro NRA Concealed Firearms Permit Course (16 hours)

This 16 hour course will familiarize students with the legal and ethical responsibilities associated with carrying and using a concealed firearm outside the home. Students will learn safe handling and shooting techniques in a 6 hour classroom component, and apply them in a 2 hour range component. Completion of this course will provide students with the certificate necessary to apply for a CCW permit in California and other states as well. This course is County specific. The goal of this course is to develop in students the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed handgun for self-defense.
