NRA-NMLRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting Course

This course is designed to develop shooters that will learn the NRA-NMLRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting Course. This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a muzzleloading pistol. This course is 10-12 hours in length and include classroom time and instruction on a range shooting a muzzleloader. Each student learns the parts; cleaning; shooting from the standing position; identifying failure to fire; and benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.

Pursuant to the new NRA-NMLRA curriculum just coming out now, this course may include the Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun disciplines in one course. However, this is not set in stone yet, and I will update this page as I receive more information.

As of this time, all courses are given individually.
